Since 2022, we have been meeting in the Bad Rock Canyon area of Montana.

History

“The Canyon” includes four small communities where several of our families live: Hungry Horse, Martin City, Coram, and West Glacier. At the same time, we are made up of households who live in Kalispell, Whitefish, Lakeside, Creston, and Columbia Falls.

  • A group of 4–6 households began meeting each week in different homes in Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse.

  • We began meeting in Martin City in the previous building of Lion Hill Baptist Church.

  • We ratified our constitution, took membership vows, and received the Lord’s Supper for the first time.

  • With the ordination of new elders, we transitioned from being led by the heads of households to being led by a plurality of elders.

  • We remodeled the office, removed carpet from the worship hall, installed oak pews, and removed the trailer adjacent to the church building.
